License and devices

Running EddyLoop needs no account. A license removes the free tier’s daily cap and covers one person on up to 3 machines.

After buying, your license key appears in your account and in the license email. It looks like this:

ELP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Paste it once in Settings, Account. The app verifies it, claims one of your 3 device slots, and caches the result for 30 days, so an offline machine keeps working the whole time.

To move to a new machine, revoke a device from the devices page and activate the new one. Machine identifiers are stored salted and hashed; the raw id never leaves your machine.

A verify failure never downgrades a cached license. The product’s promise is that it works with no network, and licensing follows that rule.
